THEME: BIRDS IN FLIGHT PHOTOGRAPHY WORKSHOP
LOCATION: NORTH PADRE ISLAND, TEXAS (NEAR CORPUS CHRISTI)
International wildlife photographer, Gary Mc Alea, invites you to join him at one of his favorite birding spots in Texas, North Padre Island. With decades of wildlife photography experience, he will teach you how to get amazing shots of birds in flight, how to get the best images of shore birds, and more at this beautiful beach location. He can also give you special tips for your favorite types of birds.
This outdoor workshop teaches flight photography basics such as acquiring and tracking your bird (or other moving targets), handholding techniques, lighting and environmental considerations, and how to capture your best flight images in the wild.
With small groups, everyone will have the chance to get both group and hands-on guidance in this 4-hour workshop. Gary has been photographing birds in this location for many years and can take you to a number of locations for capturing the region’s diverse wildlife.
